Creating walkable, urban, human-centered neighborhoods in the Granary District.
I haven't heard of much going on lately in the district so I thought I post what happening on the Pickle block.
We are getting a space ready for a local coffee roaster who is taking about 300 sq. ft. to roast and distribute coffee. We are exited to have this in the neighborhood.
We also are in negotiations with a software developer who is looking to take about 1000 sq. ft. on the main floor of the pickle factory more details to follow.
The outdoor music/art venue that was going on this summer at pickle will be moving inside for the winter at the narco building which is the yellow building 3 doors north of the pickle factory. Look for some shows starting Halloween weekend. You can follow these guys on Facebook at The Pickle Factory.
This building also is home to two bands that have practice rooms upstairs(we have one more room available)
We also have a guitar maker moving in next to the venue some time in November.
We also hope to have some artist studio space available in the Hide building by the first of the year this will be open studio space much like the upstairs of the Pickle Factory.
Come on down look around hit me or Milan up if your interested or want a tour price is a cup of coffee black for me and cream with a shot of hazelnut for Milan.
Great thing happening at the Pickle! We need to have another neighborhood event. Any suggestions?
Talked with one of the coordinators of the Urban Flea Market if we can swing it we might do a three day indoor event at the Hide building. Flea Market Holiday Sale. Might be a great place for you to have an info booth about the district. I will keep you informed.
That sounds awesome! Keep us updated.
